As of October 11, 2023 system software version 5.50 update for aibo goes into effect.
Updates
- aibo shows richer behavior when it is on the charging station.
- You can now disable back up of the facial recognition data.
- You can choose to disable storage of facial recognition data in the cloud by changing the settings in the My aibo app.
- While this setting is turned off, the Daily Patrol feature cannot be used, and aibo will not have back-up data for recognizing the faces of people it has interacted with in the event of a malfunction or reset and its memory is lost.
